The following is provided for informational purposes only.� No questions or comments are being requested and if received, no responses will be provided or published.� The information provided includes a few of the anticipated updates and changes to the RFP.� These updates and changes are not final and are not all encompassing of changes and updates anticipated for the RFP.� �See the attached document for updates to draft RFP N00421-20-R-0127. Software Engineering support is required for direct software systems engineering support throughout the life cycle of a weapon system from concept development through disposal, and applied to Naval Aircraft weapons as well as support systems for U.S. domestic military programs and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. The prospective contract will provide highly focused and specialized software engineering and technical support services, within the acquisition, development, deployment and sustainment phases of a weapon system, across a wide range of Naval Air Programs for aircraft systems and subsystems. The prospective contract will additionally include support for the development of operational systems and integration, as well as the ability of that software to be inter-operable with other Navy platforms. Representative samples of the contractor support requirements include: Software Systems Engineering, Systems/Subsystems Software Integration, Software Development, Software Test, Software Acquisition, Laboratory Engineering and Integration, Avionics/Software/Air Vehicle Technology Insertion, Platform Simulation, Configuration Management, and Program Performance Assessment and Analysis/Planning during the Acquisition and Sustainment phases in support of the PEOs, and NAVAIR PMA activities.
