FOREST PRODUCTS: Pine and Hardwood Timber (Lump Sum) TIME OF OPENING: 2:00 PM, Local Time DATE OF OPENING: 28 October 2020 PLACE OF OPENING: Red River Army Depot, Bldg. 421 N, Texarkana, Texas BID DEPOSIT: $50,000.00 for Item 1 EXPIRATION DATE: 30 September 2021 Inspection invited between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. Arrange inspection with Mr. Greg Kelley, Depot Forester, Red River Army Depot, telephone number 903-334-1719 or cell phone number 903-277-2912. Bidders are required to call 24 hours in advance of desired time of inspection. Issued by: Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Address: P.O. Box 17300, Fort Worth, Texas 76102 Property located at: Red River Army Depot, Texas Item 1: a. The timber offered for sale in Item 1 is an area of approximately 340 acres located in the southeastern portion of Red River Army Depot in Bowie County, Texas. The areas are owned by the Government in fee simple. b. Estimated volumes for Item 1: 7,806 Tons of pine sawtimber, 1,812 Tons of pine pulpwood, 941 Tons of mixed hardwood sawtimber and 1,724 Tons of hardwood pulpwood. Volume was determined by 100% tally of marked trees using Doyle Log Rule. Submission of Bids: a. Sealed bids must be submitted on the bid form accompanying this invitation for bids and specifications of sale, or on exact copies thereof.
