Description

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (""CFTC"") intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract for the procurement of various commodity and financial data feeds from S&P Global Platts.� The Government intends to procure this requirement under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). - Only one source reasonably available � brand-name. The information contained in the S&P Global Platts subscriptions are proprietary to S&P and CFTC knows of no alternative source that can provide the information offered in the subscriptions below.� The list of the subscriptions that CFTC intends to procure from S&P is as follows: Market Data - Petroleum Package (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data - Petroleum Package - History (Bloomberg: Terminal) Market Data Dynamic Package Market Data - Natural Gas - GD - Package - North America - Daily (Bloomberg Terminal) Market Data - Natural Gas - GM - Package - North America - Monthly (Bloomberg Market Data - Natural Gas - GD - Package - North America - Daily (Refinitiv) Market Data - Natural Gas - GM - Package - North America - Monthly (Refinitiv Market Data Dynamic Package - History Market Data - Natural Gas - GD - History Package - North America - Daily (Refinitiv) Market Data - Natural Gas - GM - History Package - North America - Monthly (Refinitiv) Metals Daily Package (Web) - Washington - DC Metals Daily Package (Web) - New York Without access to this data, CFTC�s regulatory operations would be significantly impeded and there would be an increased risk to achieving CFTC�s mission. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 5:00pm ET, July 20, 2020. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates award on or about July 30, 2020. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
