- Justification and Approval for the procurement of the only brand-name Electronic Security System (ESS) equipment that comply with the Navy security requirement for ESS equipment. The approval applies to brand-name equipment that is tested/inspected/maintained/sustained by Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake (CL) Physical Security Code D113100. ESS costs for Main side and China Lake Propulsion Laboratory (CLPL) projects P1918 Ordnance Test Support and Technical Services (OTSTS) Laboratory Facilities and P1924 Academic Training Facility (ATF) are collectively expected to be $131,000. This amount is only a nominal percentage, approximately .12%, of the overall MILCON costs for the projects (currently estimated at $105M).
