Kingsbridge Road Rm. 9b16 Bronx NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the following services for Northport VAMC. Procurement and installation of one (1) Yokogawa MC1 Single Channel O2 Manual Calibration system for the Northport VA Medical Center Boiler Plant (Building 203) located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport NY 11768. 2. Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, and supervision to provide and install one (1) Yokogawa MC1 Single Channel O2 Manual Calibration system. The vendor shall mount and install four (4) new Yokogawa MC1 manual calibration units and retrofit piping and wiring for these four (4) new units and existing O2 bottles. The vendor shall calibrate units to VA specifications and manually test connections for leaks. Once complete, vendor will provide two (2) six-hour training sessions to Boiler Plant Operators, making sure each operator is trained on the procedure to test and calibrate Yokogawa units manually. Specific tasks are: Remove old O2 boxes and wiring Disconnect existing piping Mount all four (4) new Yokogawa Units Wire new units Pipe in new units Pipe in to existing O2 bottles Test all wiring and connections Manually calibrate all four (4) units to VA specifications Test units after calibration Place system into service Provide two (2) six-hour training sessions to current VA Boiler Plant Operators on system operation 3. Background: The existing O2 calibration system was cited as being deficient during a recent inspection of the boiler plant. The existing O2 calibration system is also beyond economic repair. A new O2 manual calibration system is required to be installed so that the deficiency can be cleared. The location of the work is at the Boiler Plant located in Building 203. 4. Performance Period: One (1) day of labor for installation, testing and calibration. Two (2) days (six hours per day) of training to VA employees. 5. Inspection: The Plumbing Shop Supervisor will perform an inspection in the presence of the contractor and prior to the contractor leaving the facility. This inspection is to ensure that all work is complete per the terms of this Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 238220. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing via email and must be received no later than October 09, 2020. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 238220. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, and examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to DUNS number, address, and point of contact.
