Description
This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of ALL qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, on behalf of the Audie L. Murphy VAMC is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to identify experienced businesses that can meet the requirements stated below. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS: 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance PSC: J065, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment-Medical, Dental and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies Size Standard: $22M NOTE: Respondent must be actively registered in beta.SAM.gov. Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in the VetBiz Registry at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov. PART A GENERAL INFORMATION The South Texas VA Healthcare System (STXVAHCS) has a requirement for a service contract on some FujiFilm Medical Systems, USA (FMSU), Radiology equipment, to provide routine preventative and corrective maintenance and ensure optimal working condition to lessen the likelihood of down time. Please see below for the equipment listing. While not all-inclusive, at a minimum, all work shall be performed by a FMSU trained and certified technician. Service shall include all parts, labor and travel during normal working hours with 24 x 7 / 365 phone support provided by a Certified Technical Support Engineer. Service shall also include one (1) preventative maintenance inspection and calibration per service agreement year, unless otherwise specified per the FMSU Service Manual, a one-hour phone response and a four-hour on-site response time. This contract is estimated to be in effect on or about October 25, 2020 and will expire October 24, 2021 with a one-year option period. It is required that service personnel are factory trained and certified to work on the Fujifilm Medical Systems USA equipment listed below. If other than the OEM, Training and Certification documentation must be included with your offer/submission. 1. CONFORMANCE STANDARDS: Contract service shall ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the latest published edition of NFPA-99, OSHA, CDRH and Manufacturer Conformance Standards. Capability statement /information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide the required services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc.,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
