- Description
- See attachments for all solicitation requirements. Handheld Network and Fiber Testing Equipment - Brand name or equal IAW the specifications below: 100G All-in-one handheld network and fiber testing Dimensions: 7 x 9.5 x 3.2 in (17.8 x 24.1 x 8 cm) Unit Power: 12VDC input, 5 Amp Max Nominal Weight: 4.2 lbs Temperature: 0 to 50C (operating), -20 to 60 (storage) 2x SFP28 / SFP+ ports Up to 32G 2x QSFP28 / QSFP+ ports, 40GE/100GE,OTU4 / OTU3 1x CFP4 port 100GE/OTU4 1x RJ48c T1/E1 port 1x RJ45 10/100/1000 port *Bit Error Rate Testing Capability - The T-BERD/MTS-5800-100G handheld network tester is the one tool that network technicians and engineers need to install and maintain their networks. - Supports both legacy and emerging technologies to address network applications including metro/core, data center interconnect, and business services test applications. - Instruments feature Bit Error Rate (BER) testing at both Layer 1 (physical layer) and Layer 2 of FC circuits using a variety of stress test patterns per INCITS and IEEE 802.3 standards. The ability to stress test both network layers enables accurate benchmarking at the time of service installation. Bit Error Rate testing is the standard across the Defense Informations Systems Agency (DISA) for testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and activating long haul communications circuits. A 72-hour BER test is required for all new circuit activations and is utilized in troubleshooting end-to-end paths from Cannon AFB across the globe. - Converged Ethernet/IP network testing and troubleshooting at 10 Mbps to 100 G interfaces for data centers and core / metro networks.
