- 36C25221Q0023 Overview: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for businesses with the capability of providing on-call COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting janitorial services for the following VA Clinics: Decatur, Illinois Bloomington, Illinois Springfield, Illinois Mattoon, Illinois Requirements: Cleaning/Disinfection Services Purpose. When called by the COR or the COR s designated representative, the Contractor shall clean and disinfect the Clinic s COVID-19 screening area (typically located at the entrance of each Clinic) and the examination room used for the suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patient. Specific requirements include: The Contractor shall clean and disinfect all surfaces within the COVID-19 contaminated areas, including the building structure, fixtures, furniture, and equipment. The Contractor shall use an Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA )-approved COVID-19 disinfectant. The Contractor shall provide a copy of the disinfectant s Safety Data Sheet ( SDS ) within one week of Contract award. Cleaning/disinfecting personnel shall utilize PPE in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) guidelines. The COR or the COR s designated representative shall direct the Contractor to the areas to be cleaned/disinfected, including priority of cleaning/disinfecting as necessary. All areas should be cleaned/disinfected within 90 minutes of Contractor arrival. The COR or COR s designated representative shall approve, in their sole discretion, of any cleaning/disinfecting job prior to departure of the Contractor. The Contractor shall immediately remedy any deficiencies at no additional cost to the Government. Availability. The Contractor shall provide on-call cleaning/disinfecting services during Business Hours (7:45 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Local Time, except for Federal Holidays). Response Times. The Contractor shall be on-site, ready to begin cleaning no later than two (2) hours after being contacted by the COR or the COR s designated representative. Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. Payment by each completed cleaning/ disinfecting job. Contract to be awarded under FAR Part 18 Emergency Acquisitions. Contract Duration: Six months with the possibility of a six-month extension.
