Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Economic Security Mission Center (ESMC) provides intelligence to drive decisions and define the Department�s intelligence equities in the economic security space; provide intelligence on threats to U.S. economic competitiveness, including intellectual property theft, supply chain threats, and illicit trade; and informs foreign engagement, policy discussions, and other economic security decisions for federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private-sector partners. In support of their mission to� prevent economic security threats to global trade, ESMC has a need for subscription to a comprehensive global import and export trade data resource that contains official merchandise trade statistics for countries all over the world.� Global Trade Atlas is a browser-based search and analysis tool,� that provides merchandise trade data for more than 85 of the world�s major economies for every commodity at the most detailed level of harmonized code. Subscription to this trade data tool will aid the DHS ESMC�s Strategic Threats and Emerging Issues teams, to conduct open source analysis on global trade trends, to provide senior policymakers with critical intelligence products to assist in their decision making.�
