Description
The Security Department NCBC, Gulfport MS for the Navy is requiring additional Cover for Sentry Random Antiterrorism Measures. The Level 3-A Ballistic Blankets to protect the Over Watch and Cover Sentries from 5.56mm Small Arms Assaults to be Utilized by the Security Department Personnel on gates. The Level 3-A Blankets will absorb up to a 5.56mm projectile. Requirement: 4 X 4 Level 3-A Ballistic blankets Black in Color 2 Each 4 X 6 Level 3-A Ballistic Blankets Black in Color 2 Each All Ballistic Blankets shall be Level 3- A rated to stop up to a 5.56 mm projectile. They shall be like a blanket able to be bent or molded around the portable Gate Shacks. They shall not be stiff or solid like personal body armor. Delivery and shipping shall be included in the overall cost and not billed separately. Items shall be delivered no later than 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO). Delivery must take place between the core business hours of 8:00AM � 3:30PM CDT, Monday through Friday and shall not include after-hours, weekends, and holiday timeframes. The contractor shall perform deliveries as scheduled including during periods of inclement weather unless specific approval to delay is requested by the contractor and approved by Designated Government Representative (DGR). Such approval will normally be granted only in cases of particular severe weather, such as hurricanes or tornados, etc. The contractor shall not request additional cost for schedule changes due to inclement weather.
