Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office (CCAM-ALC), Corpus Christi, TX is issuing a notice of intent to sole source as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Whereas Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This is not a request for proposals or quotes. PURPOSE: Notice of Government�s intent to sole source the Angled Sliders, P/N:� 900088 to Spika Design & Manufacturing, Inc., Lewistown, MT.� This action requires a specific product from Spika Design & Manufacturing, Inc. to maintain & enhance the safety afforded by the stands in accordance with OHSA 29 CFR 1910.28 (b) (3) (i).� This will ensure the aircraft stands continue to operate to OEM standards and protect workers from falling four feet or�more.� The Government will not reimburse participants for any information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Directorate of Aircraft Production is in need of 21 ANGLED SLIDERS; P/N: 900088. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this announcement must be received no later than12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday, September 28, 2020. No telephone requests will be honored.
