Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source contract The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Forcepoint Federal, LLC. This is a contract to modify the existing HDTRA118C0064 contract with Forcepoint Federal LLC, 12950 Worldgate Drive, Suite 600, Herndon, VA, 20170-6024, to procure additional, DoD CIO accredited UAM hardware, licenses and engineer support. OI-MSC contract, HDTRA118C0064, was awarded for a User Activity Monitoring (UAM) system and ancillary engineering support, and expires 31 May 2023. The basic contract UAM support included a five year warranty for the unclassified network (UNET) and a three year warranty for the Secret Network (SNET) UAM. This requirement will result in a Firm Fixed-Price contract.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541512. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the email address stated herein and to the attention of Mr. Ernest Caldwell Jr, Contract Specialist and Russell V. Kelley, III. Responses to this notice must be received by 3:00pm EST on October 7, 2020. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
