SOURCES SOUGHT ADVERTISEMENT The Department of Veteran Affairs is interested in leasing the following type of space: Space Type: Parking Spaces Parking Spaces 90 State: California City: Fresno Delineated Area: See attached map Full Term: 10 Years / 3 Years Firm Additional Requirements: Offered space: 90 non-reserved, uncovered surface parking spaces to accommodate standard sized automobiles in accordance with Fresno City parking standards. Lessor shall maintain parking area to accommodate the parking of approximately ninety vehicles. standardized parking space dimensions with adequate striping meeting local code requirements. accessible from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. adequate lighting for visibility of all parked vehicles. paved generally flat surface without loose gravel or potholes with adequate drainage. key or combination shall be provided, or other arrangements made for the Government to access the secured premises. Trash and debris removal and electricity will be provided by the Lessor. Restroom Access. Government will be permitted to post one or more security guards during its parking hours of operation. Permanent secure chain link or aluminum fencing with the ability to secure the access point (s). The space shall be free of hazardous materials and in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental Laws and Regulations. Shall not be a sublease. Shall be owned by one entity Submission Instructions: Interested parties are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by the due date. All responses to this Notice shall include the following: Name, address, and location of available space Ownership or contact information of authorized representative. Brokers or legal representatives must show written acknowledgement and permission to represent property. Date of space availability Parking capacity Proximity to 2615 Clinton Ave. Fresno, California, 93703 (VA Medical Center) Expression of Interest Due Date: October 01, 2020 by 4:30 PM PT Submissions shall be sent electronically to: Alexander Ortiz, Contract Specialist Subject: Parking Procurement, Expression of Interest, Fresno, California Alexander.Ortiz@va.gov A market survey site-visit of all properties will be conducted by VA personnel. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: The VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this Sources Sought announcement. The VA will not reimburse any incurred costs associated with responding to this Notice.
