- Description
- This award is forquantity of one (1) Discrete Photometric Analyzer to allow for the testing for acetic acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, oxalic acid, total acids, total phenolics, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and D-Glucose + D-Fructose + Sucrose at the same time. In addition, with this unit the capability to test soil samples and plant tissue for total iron, zinc and various forms or nitrogen such as nitrate and ammonia is needed. The methods used for analysis with the discrete analyzer must be well known enzymatic and colorimetric chemistries optimized to international reference methods. In addition, certified reagents must be offered for lot traceability and ease of use and saving the technicians time and reducing errors. The Discrete Analyzer must have the following: A Xenon flash lamp which will significantly reduce the operating cost of the instrument over the life-time of the instrument. A filter range of 340- 880 nm with 12 filter positions, which will enable the analysis of the samples of interest. Equipment Requirements: The analyzer must be able to run many different tests simultaneously on a single sample. It should have a minimum of 36 cuvettes with 10 reaction cells, thus enabling up to 200 tests per hour Samples and reagents should be able to be identified with an internal barcode reader Incubation temperature should be controlled between 25 and 60 degrees C The reaction vessels should be discrete disposable cuvettes to minimize contamination Must include 18 position sample rack Quality control should be real-time with user-definable Westgard rules Data management should be via Windows, PC, keyboard and monitor should be included Power Requirements 100-240 V Must include 2 days onsite setup and training Should include a Start-up kit of consumables Should include a one- year warranty with the availability of extended warranties
