Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0029 on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) for the MH-60R/S Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Repair of Repairables (RoR) follow-on effort. This contract is for the repair of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in support of the United States Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) MH-60 platforms. �This contract includes repairs to MH-60R/S common cockpit components and MH-60R mission system components used to support lab testing and includes efforts necessary to evaluate, repair and maintain MH-60 GFE into a serviceable condition. This action was awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) under the authority permitting other than full and open competition, Title 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" LM RMS is the sole designer, developer, systems integrator, and manufacturer of the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft and weapon system and, as such, is the only source with the requisite knowledge and skilled personnel, facilities, manufacturing tooling, test equipment, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services.
