- NAICS 325412 - Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.� �The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central (RHCO-C) Fort Carson Health Contracting Cell at Fort Bliss Texas, 5005 N. Piedras, El Paso, TX 79920 is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), in accordance with FAR 15.201(b). This is not a solicitation. This announcement does not constitute a Request For Quote (RFQ), Invitation For Bid (IFB), Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Application (RFA) or an announcement of a solicitation nor does this announcement commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this sources sought; all costs associated with responding to this announcement will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.� Any resultant solicitation, if any, will be released through System for Awards Beta portal at https://beta.sam.gov is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.� This sources sought is issued for the sole purpose of RHCO-C Fort Carson Contracting Cell at Fort Bliss to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. Description of Requirement: The NAICS for this requirement is 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing with a size standard of is 1,250 employees.� All interested businesses are encouraged to respond.�� The William Beaumont Army Medical Center is looking for Contractors to provide the following: 1.����������� Ultratag kits (10 each) are used for a variety of studies including emergency Gastrointesinal bleed scans.� The kit once a patient�s blood and the radio isotope have been adding can be used in Gated Cardiac Equilibrium Blood Pool scans used to evaluate the hearts ejection fraction in cancer patients and cardiology patients.� It can also be used in the evaluation for hemangioma in patients that have question about masses in their livers.� With Gastrointesinal bleed patients these studies are done on call to help locate GI bleeds that cannot be seen thru other ways. 2.����������� TECNESSCAN-HDP (brand name or equal) (6 each) is used when combined with our radio isotope to help evaluate bone abnormalities.� This ranges from stress fractures, osteomyelitis vs cellulites, metastatic bone lesions and any changes to the skeleton structure. 3.����������� TECHNESCAN MAG3 (brand name or equal) (10 boxes) when combined with our radio isotopes allow for evaluation of the renal system.� The drug goes to the kidneys and allow use to visually see if the kidney is functioning and also allow us to quantify function in patients that have had intervention. 4.����������� KIT PREP IN-111 PENTETREOTIDE (brand name or equal) (4 boxes) when combined form OCTREOTIDE (brand name or equal).� OCTREOTIDE is used to help locate carcinoid tumors and other neuroenocrine tumors which cannot be located through other imaging modalities (CT, MRI and PET/CT).� By compounding the kits ourselves there would be a large reduction in cost.� 5.����������� The ULTRA TECHNEKOW 7.5CI/1 (brand name or equal) (52 each) generators are critical to our daily operations.� The generator is eluted every day and it is used to compound roughly 90% of our radio pharmaceuticals.� This elution takes place over a 10 minute period allows the technologist on call to rapidly compound STAT radiopharmacticals for STAT exams.� The generator needs to be housed in cabinet 36 x 24 x 24 inches.� The generator must use depleted uranium because the new radio pharmacy in the new hospital has a smaller footprint. Depleted uranium shielding take advantage of its very high density of 19.1 g/cm3 which is 1.67 times higher than that of lead which has a density of 11.34 g/cm3.� This high density makes Depleted uranium shielding the best available radioactive shielding on the market.� By using the best shielding we will be able to keep all parties as safe as possible, patients, staff and the hospital in general, especially in the small confines of the nuclear pharmacy. This full fills the principles of ALARA (As low as reasonably achievable) to help���� reduce their radiation exposure.� This product is the only one produced in North America. B. Perform test within 30 working day turnaround time from receiving the specimen.� Exceptions are tests that require further testing. �C. Provide accurate and timely communication of critical values, excluding patient test results, to ensure proper patient care. �D. Provide accurate hard copies of all laboratory results to the ordering physician. E. Must have board-certified clinical geneticist available for consultation. �F. Must be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.� Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement or otherwise, Genomic Health� Laboratories, Inc. shall not release patient's records that include test results, without the specific written consent to release such information as provided by the patient, to any person other than the ordering healthcare provider or designee.� All member records shall be treated so as to comply with all state and federal laws regarding the confidentiality of patient's records.� This provision shall survive termination of this agreement. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION:� It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to deliver the items listed above.� This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: Company Profile to include: Company name, company address, points-of-contact information including �name, phone number, fax number and e-mail address, number of employees, annual revenue history, office location, CAGE code, DUNS number, and a statement regarding current small business size status under associated NAICS codes.� For the purposes of being considered a small business the following applies: NAICS code 325412 - Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing. This Sources Sought notice is being published with the intent to promote competition.� Suggestions from industry regarding how competition may best be achieved are requested.� All such suggestions will be considered; however, the Government reserves the right to solicit for the required services in a manner of its own choosing in accordance with the applicable procurement regulations.��� How to submit: Vendors capable of performing this effort are requested to furnish a complete response electronically to flor.f.sanchez.civ@mail.mil.� All companies must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov).� Responses to this Sources Sought shall be submitted electronically by email to Ms. Flor Sanchez, Contract Specialist, at flor.f.sanchez.civ@mail.mil .
