Description

The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Solicitation Notice to support the upcoming IDIQ for MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) Hatch overhaul requirement. Interested parties must be approved by ISEA and have their qualifications IAW NAVSEA Instruction 8394.2G of 10 May 2013, MK 41 VLS Safety and Design Precepts. Qualified titles are as follows (but not limited to) Certified Systems Maintenance Technicians (SMT) or certified VLS Test Directors (TD). Further, the successful awardee(s) must conduct overhauls IAW VLS IMS NO 4810-6692849-019 REV E and have a minimum of 3 years� experience on MK 41 VLS hatches. In accordance with FAR Part 19, it has been determined based on the Government's market research; this solicitation will not be able to be set aside for Small Business. The Small Business Representative provided concurrence on 01 June 2020. The solicitation is full and open to all bidders with the certification requirements as stated above. This work would be performed at the contractor�s facility.
