Page 1 of Page 2 of 2 Page 1 of The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain service and maintenance for the GE Optima XR646 Digital Radiographic Diagnostics, VIVID IQ, and VIVID E95 R2 systems. Period of performance: 11/01/2020 through 10/31/2025 Basic description of the requirement: GE Healthcare is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and developer of the GE Optima XR646 Digital Radiographic Diagnostics, VIVID IQ, and VIVID E95 R2 systems. They are the sole authorized licenser of equipment/software and provider of maintenance and support. GE Healthcare will provide a full service agreement to include: OEM certified technicians, OEM parts, travel, labor, 24/7 telephone and remote diagnostic technician support, updates to the hardware and software in place as required, preventative maintenance and as needed repairs. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by September 24, 2020 at 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE GE OPTIMA in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Officer, Janine Childs at Janine.Childs@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
