- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price in Reno, Nevada. This requirement is to: 1) research and develop in-flight data processing purchase order under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures to Situation Awareness Systems LLC, located apacity for a multi-camera sensor array being developed for DMBM 2) research and develop a modular system for efficient management of remote sensing data post-flight, 3) acquire a compatible spare main processor and camera for the multi-sensor array, 4) research and develop a second direct georeferencing system identical to the POSAV510-based system currently operated by the DMBM, and 5) develop a second multi-sensor array compatible the the DMBM�s direct georeferencing systems and the proprietary Aware� software which controls the integrated systems.. This system is an integral part of the DMBM�s strategy to improve the quality of data derived from migratory bird population and habitat monitoring programs, increase cost-efficiencies, and enhance safety for aircrews and equipment.
