- Questions and Answers: Questions, Clarifications, or Discrepancies. Address all questions, clarifications, or concerns regarding this solicitation in writing to the attention of Clifton M. Wells, Contracting Officer (KO), via e-mail at clifton.m.wells.civ@mail.mil and the Contract Specialist, Haley A. Hogue at haley.a.hogue.civ@mail.mil, and Anthony Hill at�anthony.j.hill16.civ@mail.mil referencing solicitation number W81K04-20-R-0020. Contractors must submit questions in a Government provided format (see contractor question template, Attachment 1) via email no later than 14 days from release of RFP (NLT 25 September 2020). In the event of solicitation discrepancies (e.g., errors, omissions, or points otherwise unclear or unsound), offerors shall immediately notify the KO in writing with supporting rationale. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads �W81K04-20-R-0020, RMW Services.� Please see attached ""Contractor Questions and Government Response_15 Sep�2020"" for Questions and Answers as of 15 September 2020.� The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston, Texas has a requirement to provide pick-up, treatment, and disposal Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) services in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The supported DHA facilities includes DHA medical treatment facilities (MTFs), United States (U.S.) Military Entrance Processing Commands (USMEPCOM), Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS), Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) facilities, and the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System (AFMES) throughout the 50 United States and U.S. Territories of Guam and Puerto Rico. The Contractor will be required to collect, transport, store and dispose of RMW, to include Department of Transportation (DOT) Category A infectious substances (i.e. Ebola virus, Hantaviruses causing hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, etc.), in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations to include the processing of chemotherapy trace waste and pathological waste. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, transportation, equipment, materials, certification, and training, except as specified as Government furnished, required to perform these services.� All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the Beta.Sam.Gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
