Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL requires the upgrade of the primary workstation and server to the base�s access control systems in Bldg 929 to support 22 buildings and 657 card readers, the installation of an alternate workstation in Bldg 834, and the installation of a backup server in Bldg 800, all located on Maxwell AFB to enhance the base�s overall security. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2X3B20241AW02 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see Attachment #2) are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-09 effective 28 Aug 2020, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20200831 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2019-1001 effective 1 Oct 2019.
