- Description
- The USPFO for Vermont intends to award a single firm fixed price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for repair/alterations on four projects accommodate changing requirements to facilities in support of the F35 Joint Strike Fighter. Work will be performed at the 158th Fighter Wing, South Burlington, Vermont (Chittenden County) under the project numbers and titles CURZ202302 B90 Flashing Repair; CURZ202304 Repair Base Pavement; CURZ202307 HVAC Repair; and CURZ 202308 Shop Light Upgrades. �Below is a brief description of the 4 projects listed above: CURZ202302 B90 Flashing Repair: Building 90�s upper wall flashing sections have failed and continue to allow moisture into the building. These areas are located where the flat roof portions of the building meet upper wall sections. Remove necessary mortar brick courses to gain access to thru wall flashing and wall cavity. Provide and install temporary braces to the upper remaining courses to prevent sagging and damage. Remove existing spray foam insulation, thru-wall and counter-flashing, Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) and any other roofing/flashing components as required for installation for new stainless steel flashing and wall cavity. Install new flashing/counter-flashing, mortar netting, grout, roofing, CMU veneer, weep holes and other wall/roof components. CURZ202304 Repair Base Pavement: Repair of approximately 3,240 SF of approximately 5� thick asphalt pavement, with 5� of new hot mix asphalt pavement, at multiple base parking lot and drive locations. Project will include; yellow roadway centerline striping with glass beads, yellow road marking striping with glass beads, yellow munitions storage area building clear zone striping with glass beads, yellow parking space striping, white road marking striping with glass beads, white stop bar striping with glass beads, white crosswalk striping with glass beads, red parking restriction striping with glass beads, approx. 5� tall white letters and directional arrows with lass beads, 12� tall yellow letters, approx. 3� tall yellow handicap symbols.� This project consist of both a Base Bid component and Bid Option items. CURZ202307 B410 HVAC Repair: This project involves installation of upgraded HVAC equipment and ductwork in Building 410 at the Vermont Air National Guard. Install new unit heater UH-1, new pump P-9, associated piping and appurtenances in mechanical room 118. Install new heat pump HP-19 and associated piping, ductwork and appurtenances. Install new exhaust fan EF-4 serving men�s restroom 111 and women�s restroom 112. CURZ202308 Shop Light Upgrades: This project involves upgrading shop lights in Building 300, 312 and 314. �There is no Base Bid for CURZ202308 Shop Light Upgrades, only Bid Options. This project is being procured as Small Business Set-Aside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.� The date for the pre-bid conference/site visit is detailed in the solicitation.� Interested contractors are encourage to attend and shall follow conference registrations and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. �All questions for the pre-bid conference must be submitted by NLT 48 hours prior to the pre-bid via email to randy.brittingham.1@us.af.mil �and �james.a.belaski.civ@mail.mil.
