- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, located in Pollock, Louisiana intends to make a single award of firm-fixed price type contract to a responsible entity for the provision under this request for quote (RFQ) 15B51921Q00000002 for Courier Services.� This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for total small business entities under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS), 492210, with a size standard of $30,000,000.00 and for �non-manufacturers�, the size standard is 500 employees and the product must be made in the United States.� Quotes will be considered from only those meeting these standards.� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07(c). ����������� DESCRIPTION / SCHEDULE: � Local Delivery Services: Services are required at FCC Pollock for package pick-up and delivery from October 1, 2020 � September 30, 2021.� Monday � Friday of each week, excluding Federal Holidays, a courier will pick up approximately 23 to 50 packages, averaging 30/day, ranging in size from envelopes to 22x22x22 boxes.� Package weights will vary from 1 to 60 lbs, averaging approximately 15 lbs.� Packages will be delivered to a local FedEx location for same day shipping and overnight delivery to other Bureau of Prisons locations around the country.� Packages will be required to be picked up daily at 2:30 pm (CST). � CONTRACT PRICING: Contract pricing must include all cost associated with required services.� Local Delivery/Courier Services: 251(Sessions/Days of services) �x �$_____________Unit Price = $______________ Total Cost The government reserves the right to award without discussion; therefore, the initial quote should contain the offerors best terms from a price standpoint.� PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: FCC Pollock 1000 Airbase Road Pollock LA 71467 � CONTRACT CLAUSES: The following provisions and clauses will apply to this solicitation in accordance with Commercial Items: 52.252?2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference;� 52.212?1 Instruction to Offerors 52.212-3 Offer Representation and Certifications � Commercial Items 52.212?4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM) 52.212?5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial items ����������� Additional FAR clauses cited in 52.212-5 that are applicable to this RFQ: ����������� 52.233-3 Protest After Award ����������� 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside ����������� 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds � System for Award Management (SAM) The full text provision or clause may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far OTHER CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: � The resultant contracts will be a firm fixed price type contract.� It is anticipated that contract awards resulting from this solicitation will be made approximately September 21, 2020 and will be effective October 1, 2020.
