Description
This amendment is to correct the due date for proposals to be consistent with Section L of the solicitation.� The due date is hereby changed FROM: 10 Sept 2020 at 2:00 pm ET, TO: 12 Sept 2020 at 2:00 pm ET. ******************************************************************************************************************* This acquisition is in direct support of COVID-19 activities.� It is a� multi-year �contract with a 5-year period of performance and will� utilize acquisition flexibilities authorized under FAR Part 18.� It is being conducted as a� commercial item as authorized by�HHS Acquisition Alert 2020-06 and as such, an expedited response time of 10 Sept 2020 is requested.��� This is a sole source requirement to Health Level Seven International, Inc., a non-profit agency, to� support the U.S. Realm Steering Committee (USR-SC)� in the�development and implementation, balloting, and publication of the US Core Implementation Guide and C-CDA Standards to establish a foundational level of interoperability in support of COVID-19 and future public health related activities.� These standards will enable electronic health records and other health IT applications to communicate and share information more easily.� � They� will provide a consistent and common set of technical capabilities for health IT developers to build around and will ensure that patients and docutors can readily access and use the most important clinical inforamtion when and where they need it. This is NOT a small business set-aside.
