Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services, National Wildlife Research Center (WS-NWRC), conducts research for the purposes of evaluating and improving control of invasive Brown Treesnakes (BTS) on Guam. This research requires a regular source for the procurement of frozen, dead, whole animals for use as BTS baits. The size, species, and frequency of baits needed will vary based on respective study objectives and cannot easily be anticipated because needs will sometimes be dictated by results of early study phases.� The Contractor shall provide rodents and birds shipped frozen to USDA APHIS Wildlife Services, National Wildlife Research Center, 233 Pangelinan Way, Barrigada, Guam 96913-1277. The intent is to award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a period one year with four optional one-year periods.� This procurement is a small business set-aside. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 8810. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311119 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
