PROJECT TITLE/LOCATION: North Lake Road and Rattlesnake Cove Road Maintenance and Restoration is located near Cave Creek, AZ *Site Visit* Thursday, September 10, 2020 10:00 AM local.��We�ll meet at the entrance of North Lake Road, where it intersects Bartlett Lake Road.� The coordinates are 33�50'36.26""N, 111�38'40.79""W. Contracting Officer: Columbus Campbell, Cell number: (609) 760-7587, E-mail: columbus.campbell@usda.gov In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the construction magnitude of this project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS: 237310 SIZE STANDARD: $39.5M TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE Scope of Work: The work on North Lake Road includes removing erosion deposits from the roadway, cleaning ditches and culverts (including inlet/catch basin areas), re-establishing ditches, backfilling eroded downslope areas, and installing gabion baskets and/or mattresses where the fill slope has eroded away and is beginning to undercut the paved road. The work on Rattlesnake Cove Road includes removing erosion deposits from the roadway, cleaning ditches and culverts, and backfilling eroded downslope areas, particularly around the culvert outlet. The objective of this project is to restore the roadways to their original conditions, facilitate flow of water through culverts and ditches, prevent excessive water runoff in areas that will erode the downslope road embankments, stabilize fill slopes to mitigate the risk of future road washouts, and remove roadway debris to improve safety.� Location: Tonto National Forest, Cave Creek Ranger District, North Lake Road (FSR 459) and Rattlesnake Cove Road (FSR 459A) Directions: From Phoenix, AZ (Tonto NF Supervisor�s Office) travel north on AZ-51 N for approximately 15 miles. Take Exit 15a to merge onto AZ-101 Loop E.� Then take Exit 31 for Tatum Blvd. Continue left onto N Tatum Blvd for about 5.6 miles.� Turn right onto E Dixileta Dr (5.2 mi), left onto N Pima Rd (4.3 mi), right onto E Cave Creek Rd (4.2 mi), right onto Bartlett Dam Rd (13 mi), left onto North Lake Road (FSR 459) and you will arrive at the project location.� Rattlesnake Cove Road (FSR 459A) is located off of North Lake Road to the right.
