The veteran business must be registered in SAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small or large businesses must be registered in SAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to the sources sought: Company Name, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Certification from the manufacturer that they have permission to provide and install any systems or software. Responses shall be submitted electronically, via email to Donna Toliver. Email address is donna.toliver3@va.gov. Responses are due no later Friday 9/11/2020 at 3:00 pm. The Pittsburgh VA Medical Center has a requirement for Cary Eclipse Fluorescence Spectrophotometer. This is a Brand Name Or Equal Request. The Spectrophotometer is manufactured by Agilent Technologies. Below is the Statement of Need for review. Statement of Need Cary Eclipse Bundle or equivalent including: Model G9800AA including WinFLR Software, licensing, and Desktop or Laptop PC. Installation and a familiarization training session. Model G9809A Thermostatted Single Cell Holder Starna PN 9400 Spinette Magnetic Cuvette Stirrer End user will evaluate quotes for equivalency. Salient Characteristics The Cary Eclipse Fluorescence Spectrophotometer uses a Xenon flash lamp for superior sensitivity, high signal-to-noise and fast kinetics, providing a flexible instrument for a range of applications. Using Xenon lamp technology, it captures a data point every 12.5 ms and scans at 24,000 nm/min without peak shifts. The Cary Eclipse is the only spectrophotometer with room light immunity and with an optional microplate reader; it offers full wavelength scanning of 384 samples. Four collection modes: Fluorescence, phosphorescence, chemi/bioluminescence and time resolved phosphorescence Modular software: the ability to switch between measurement modes without touching the hardware, ensure that any user can quickly get reliable, accurate results with minimal training. Small volume samples: measures low-volume picomolar fluorescein concentrations (<0.5 ml) and large, odd-sized samples too. Room light immunity: the instrument operates with the front and top panels removed for easy access to sample and fast installation of large accessories Cary Eclipse 24 L x 24 W x 11 H 32 lbs Xenon flash lamp technology 110 V Sensitivity up to 900 nm Automatically align the excitation beam Customize the measurement positions Control the image spot size to as small as 2 mm in diameter Computer 20 L x 20 W x 16 H 21 lbs 3.2 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 Core 4 Gb Ram 500 Gb HDD DVD-ROM Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Software The modular design of the Cary WinFLR software means that it can be tailored to suit your analytical requirements. The software modules include basic wavelength scans or concentration measurements, through to measurements to suit life science applications requiring advanced polarization or thermal control. Obtain 3-D graphs and contour plots in seconds Automatically collect a series of excitation, emission, or synchronous scans in all x modes. The 3-D data can be sliced to produce single excitation or emission scans, or contour plots can be created to show the number of emitting species. Accessories for liquid samples Microplate reader for method development or high throughput measurements. Fiber-optic probes and couplers for fast accurate measurements without cuvettes. Peltier and water thermostatted single and multicell holders for precise temperature control. Temperature probes for accurately measuring the temperature inside the cuvette. Rapid mix accessory for investigating ultrafast kinetics measurements that are over within seconds. Manual and automated polarizers for excitation down to 275 nm. Accessories for solids, powders, and pastes Solid sample holder to acquire fluorescence spectra of many sample types, including filters, powders, gels, optical components, and fabrics. Fiber optic reflectance probe and coupler.
