Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to supply and deliver 52,500 gallons of #2 Diesel (dyed) for Off-Road Use. Fuel will be pumped onboard a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons. Transfer will take place at the La Grange Lock & Dam, 7.8 miles below Beardstown, IL on the Illinois River. Delivery will be coordinated in advance with the on-site supervisor. Fuel deliveries shall be on Thursday September 17th, 2020 and/or Friday, September 18th, 2020. All deliveries on one day would be preferred but not required. Due to delivery site conditions, if rain is forecasted for Thursday and/or Friday, the fuel shall be delivered between September 14-16, 2020. The fuel barge is owned and operated by the USACE and annually inspected by the United States Coast Guard. It will�be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. The transport trucks will be responsible for all transport truck activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. Offeror shall quote PER GALLON prices for Off-Road #2 Diesel. Price shall include delivery, and any required fees. No Biodiesel or Biodiesel Blends will be accepted. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation. Quotes received after the solicitation close time and date will not be considered for award.
