- Contracting at the Miami VA Medical Center is seeking sources capable of providing dental prostheses inclusive of fixed & removable prosthodontics and any services/repairs/shipping for the proper intended use of each item for full item performance. Contractor will be required to provide the following: Complete dentures (including bite rims, set-up, process and finish); cast partial dentures (including frameworks, set-up, process and finish); all acrylic partial dentures (including those which require wrought wire clasps, with set-up, process and finish); complete and partial denture repair; complete and partial denture relines and rebases; thermoplastic mouth guards; traditional acrylic night guards; porcelain fused to metal crowns and bridges; all gold crowns and bridges; all ceramic crowns and bridges; processed provisional crowns and bridges; diagnostic wax-up and design services for removable and fixed prosthodontics; pre-fabricated and custom abutments for implants; implant supported crowns and bridges; Maryland bridges; precision cast retentive bars; precision and semi-precision attachments; cast gold post and cores. Contractor will be required to deliver impressions, teeth, prescriptions, finished product, and any other items or correspondence related to the proper intended use of all items shall be coordinated for exchange with the Government. Under normal circumstances, the contractor shall deliver items ordered under this contract no later than seven (7) working days after receipt at contractor's facility. All crown and bridge procedures shall be completed within seven (7) working days from the day of arrival at the laboratory. All complete and partial denture steps shall be completed within four (4) working days of pick-up. Completed work shall be returned within twenty-four (24) hours of completion thereof and daily deliveries shall be completed during normal duty hours back to the location from which it was received from the Government. Contractor shall provide items that meet the esthetic and functional requirements of the patient. The contractor shall be familiar with the IPN teeth mold charts by Trubyte Bioblend and with IPN shade guides by Trubyte Bioform and the VITA 3D Tooth shade guide. High quality materials shall be utilized from the International Organization for Standardization Certification (ISO 9001/CE) registered companies. The contractor shall use procedures, techniques and current technology which are considered to be the standards in the industry. The contractor shall identify all items to include specific type of metal used for each item at the time of delivery. All items shall meet the patient s natural esthetics and superior fit with minimal chair time. The contractor's laboratory shall use procedures, techniques and current technologies which are consistent with standards of practices in this industry. The services to be performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with dental laboratories industry's standards practice and the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) or similar certification or accreditation body.
