Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), Undersea Warfare Platforms & Payload Integration Department Code 45 is pursuing the use of CAMX Power Li-ion Universal Short detection technology (UDT) to scan a Li-ion battery for the presence of internal short circuits. Code 45 requires a design and technology demonstration to detect internal short circuits of 1 mega ohm or greater in a Li-ion battery consisting of parallel groups of 13 to 30 cells and up to 8 cells in series. The battery will be constructed of the LG INR18650 M36 or Murata US18650 VC7 cells in an electrical configuration of 26P-7S (electrical configuration could change with minor impacts to the UDT development). AMENDMENT 1 -�Posting 3 September 2020:� The purpose of this amendment is to� provide the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) as an attachment.�
