- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), intends to negotiate on a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract with GSS, 12351 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20191-3415 (DUNS 78-580-7611, SB). This procurement is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The award will be effective 10/01/2020 through 09/30/2021. This procurement is for various Streck CD-Chex Plus® Reagents for use with existing BD FACSLyric Flow Cytometry System for Richmond VAMC Laboratory Department. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325413 and business size standard of 1,250 employees. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT announcement only. Any responsible source capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than 09/14/2020 at 17:00 / 5:00 PM EDST. Responses to this notice should be emailed to Matthew R. Gray at Matthew.Gray@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
