Description
The purpose of this amendment is to respond to vendor questions. 1)  Name (and contact info if available) of the factory trained and certified field tech/engineer that previously worked on the EPSS ATS at the facility.  Emmett Yancey (Emmett.yancey@asco-power.com) 678-641-0138 2)  Existing electrical drawings (i.e. one-lines, etc.) An electronic version is not available to share via email. 3)  Most recent Arc Flash study. An electronic version is not available to share via email. 4) Ref. G & W Electric, repair voltage sensing problem on PMSG-3 (pg 6 of 15 under ** note): Is there already a diagnosed. assessed or suspected cause of the voltage sensing problem?  If not, please provide additional information on what is known about the problem. Initial assessment has been made by VA electricians, appears the voltage sensing relay is defective, contractor will need to verify issue prior to performing any repair work. 5) Ref. Repair motor circuit failure on PMSG-8 (pg 6 of 15 under ** note): Is there already a diagnosed, assessed or suspected cause of the failure?  If not, please provide additional information on what is known about the problem, such as a known issue with the control signal, power to load or bad motor? No diagnosis has been performed, control board indicates motor failure, motor will not operate in either open or closed position, further troubleshooting is needed to identify exact fault before the repair can be accomplished. 6) How will payment be delivered? Payments for this work shall be as follows; 10% payment upon completion of infrared testing with notification of discrepancies found and manhole IR survey, functional test and list of discrepancies. 10% payment upon completion of all automatic transfer switches associated with the EPSS. 15% payment upon completion of the lightning suppression systems and an accepted report of deficiencies. 50% payment upon completion of electrical equipment testing, may be divided into more than 1 monthly period due to the time required to perform testing. 15% payment upon receipt and acceptance of the required reports.
