- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201 (e). ALL INFORMATION RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI THAT IS MARKED AS PROPRIETARY WILL BE HANDLED ACCORDINGLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 334516 with 1,000 employee small business size standard. If VA s pending market research establishes that two or more Service Disables Veteran Own Small Business/ Veteran Owned Small Business who are certified in VA s Vendor Information website https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ eligible and capable, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127. General Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 is seeking sources that can provide hematology analyzers on a Cost Per Test/Cost Per Reportable Result (CPT/CPRR) basis to include the instrumentation, service, training, reagents, standards, controls, supplies, parts and provide all hardware, software to connect the system to existing VA network. This requirement is for the Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22), Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PALMS). If a solicitation is issued it will be published on https://beta.sam.gov/ and/or https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov at a later date. A solicitation is not currently available. Interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from this source sought. Response to this source sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the later solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
