- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is not a request for quotes; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8-San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential small business capable of providing all management, supervision, personnel, services, materials, supplies, facilities, transportation, general and specialized equipment necessary to perform an external examination of Main Building Fire Suppression System, create as as-built with zone valves, and replacement of 1,500 sprinkler scutcheon and heads with QRS in accordance with NFPA-25. External inspection and assessment of the complete sprinkler system shall conform the minimum requirements specified per 2017 NFPA-25, Chapter 5.2, 6.2, and 13.2. Main Building #1 is a partially sprinklered wet pipe system that is currently undergoing major renovations. Inspection shall include a detailed report of findings with pictures, recommendations, and as-builts to include as a minimum zone valves, risers, standpipes, mains, branches, and hose connections of existing conditions and future conditions with currently deployed projects. A separate as built shall be cross-referencing report of findings and recommendations. Hydraulic design information sign is to be incorporated and stamped for each riser and standpipe located at the VA Caribbean Healthcare in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Interested sources shall provide references of previous projects that are of similar scope, training certifications and qualification documentation demonstrating the qualified inspector is responsible for the inspection, assessment, and repair services of the fire protection system that meets and complies with the latest edition of NFPA 25. Proof of liability insurance and workmen s compensation insurance. This is sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations. The purpose of this Source Sought notice is to identify Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Small Business interested in this procurement, the level of experience, qualifications, and whether it might be suitable for a specific small business socioeconomic group set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220. The Product Service Code (PSC) is N041. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar performances which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact. Contractors should provide their size status for the above references NAICS code. (i.e. small, large) and whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned concern. Standard company brochures will not be considered sufficient response to this Source Sought. a. Provide references of previous projects that are of similar scope as outline above. b. Information of personnel training certifications and qualification documentation that meets and complies with the latest edition of NFPA Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services under the same or a related NAICS codes. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services that are registered under the same or a related NAICS code with the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE); Provide the certification type (SDVOSB/VOSB), Federal Identification Number, and state of incorporation for each. Do you plan on responding to a solicitation for this requirement with a Joint Venture utilizing multiple owned companies as majority or non-majority owner? Yes ___No ___ If yes, please identify which companies are considering a Joint Venture and the ownership of each company. If you re in GSA, please provide schedule and contract number. This is a one-time requirement contract to perform internal examinations of the Fire Suppression System in accordance with station requirements.
