- F1S3AC0164AC01 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action SANS Virtual Training and GIAC Certification The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order, Escal Institute Of Advanced Technologies (SANS), Inc.; 8120 Woodmont Ave Ste. 310, Bethesda, MD. 28014; in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items.� SANS is the only known business that meets the requirements and specifications for the SANS training and GIAC certification. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611420 The following will be procured:� FOR500 (6 days) Windows Forensic Analysis with GIAC Bundle. QTY 1 SEC503 (6 days) Intrusion Detection (In-Depth) with GIAC Bundle. QTY 1 SEC301 Introduction to Cyber Security with GIAC Bundle. QTY 2 SEC401 SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp with GIAC Bundle. QTY 3 SEC487 Open Source Intelligence Gathering (OSINT) with GIAC Bundle. QTY 3 SEC505 Securing Windows and Power Shell Automation with GIAC Bundle QTY 1 SEC542 Web App Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking with GIAC Bundle. QTY 1 SEC560 Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking with GIAC Bundle. QTY 3 This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach.� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the government.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). �This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.� Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 8 September 2020, 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
