- This requirement consists of personal services in support of the U.S. Air Force as Chemical Latrines in support of the Dyess AFB as Identified. The work covered by this project consists of the contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and of performing all operations in connection with providing and servicing chemical latrines and hand washing stations at various locations throughout the base. This requirement is for 1 year plus four (4) annual option years. This contract will include the base year with a projected period of performance of 01 October 2020-30 September 2021 and four option years with projected periods of performance of 01 October 2021-30 September 2022, 01 October 2022-30 September 2023, 01 October 2023-30 September 2024 and 01 October 2024-30 September 2025. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors,��potential offerors, and others for this�acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict�confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the�authority of the program manager,�contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in�the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or�formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the interested party to another official who can�resolve the concern. Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues,�disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an�ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid�protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee- employer actions, contests of OMB�Circular A-76 competition�performance decisions).
