- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) located at 12211 Science Drive, Orlando, FL 32826, intends to solicit and negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Mason Electric Company, Sylmar, CA, authority permitting other than full and open competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAWCTSD has identified a requirement to procure the following spares required for the CH-53K Containerized Flight Training Device, Serial No. 1 (CFTD-1) Device Number 2F243-1: P/N 799-7701 � Grip Assembly, Cursor Control, LH� P/N 799-7702 � Grip Assembly, Cursor Control, RH This sole source procurement is based on the existence of only one known manufacturer who can address the requirements needed for this contract action. Product service code (PSC) 1680, specifically for �Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components�. A sources sought notice was posted on the beta.sam.gov website on 24 February 2020 and no offers were submitted, as extensive market research predicted. Mason Electronic Company is the only company found to manufacture this part to the specific configuration utilized by the CH-53K Trainer. �
