Description

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego (SWRMC) intends to issue a sole source solicitation to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Wartsila Defense, Inc. for direct replacement parts and components for the USS GABRIELLE GIFFORD�s (LCS-10) waterjet jet, waterjet assembly, jetavator, stator, seat ring, thrust bearing, shaft seals, impellers, shafts, hydraulic rams, and all seals which comprise the ship�s main propulsion. �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements IAW FAR 6.302-1(c). The repairs to the ship�s main propulsion are scheduled to be accomplished during an upcoming FY-21 Drydocking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The resulting award will be a Single Award, Firm Fixed Price contract. The applicable NAICS will be ""336611"" Business size:�1250 (millions of dollars). This presolicitation notice is not an invitation for proposals from offerors.
