- Description
- The purpose of this update is to provide offerors with answers to questions which were submitted by offerors in response to the solicitation: 1. OFFEROR QUESTION: According to the solicitation, endoscopy should be performed at least every 6 years. Should this service be offered in the maintenance price per unit or is it possible to charge separately at a later date? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: This must be priced into the regularly-scheduled preventative maintenance. OFFEROR (continued): In order to include this item in the annual maintenance, detailed information of the respective system condition is necessary. This requires a more precise, time-consuming inspection. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Correct. 2. OFFEROR QUESTION: There is no detailed information available on the plant items 15 - 25 for the layout of the offer. Is further technical information available? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The items referenced in the question are new equipment and detailed information needs to beinserted during the first maintenance. There is no further technical information available at this time. The profided information should be sufficient to quote in response to the solicitation. 3. OFFEROR QUESTION: DGUV V3 inspections must be carried out annually on mobile systems (ortsvernderliche) and every 4 years on fixed (ortsfesten) systems. This also applies to generators. There is no reference to a DGUV V3 test in the solicitation. Should this be offered separately? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: This has to be included in the price of the regularly-scheduled preventative maintenance of the related system. There are no mobile generator in the contract, reference was made to the generators only to notify the contractor that the Government could assist with providing a mobile generator in case of emergency breakdown. The fixed generators need to be tested as needed and this has to be included into the preventative maintenance. 4.
