General Information Action Code: Combined Synopsis Solicitation Document Type: RFQ RFQ Number: 36C10E20Q0273 Posted Date: August 20, 2020 Response Date: August 27, 2020 Classification Code: 6635 (Physical Properties Testing and Inspection) Set Aside: N/A (Full and Open Competition) NAICS Code: 334517 (Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing) Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. A quotation is not an offer and, consequently, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Therefore, issuance by the Government of an order in response to a supplier s quotation does not establish a contract. The order is an offer by the Government to the supplier to buy certain supplies or services upon specified terms and conditions. A contract is established when the supplier accepts the offer. The purpose of this requirement is to provide, deliver, install and provide training for a brand-new X-ray machine (as described within) at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Sioux Falls Regional Office. The purpose of the security equipment is to provide security and safety to employees, Veterans, and visitors to the Regional Office building. The work will be done at the Sioux Falls VA Regional Office, 2501 W. 22nd Street, Building 38, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
