- Amedment 2: The purpose of Amendment 2 is to provide the attached responses to questions from the initial site visit. The Government has determined that the offer must be valid through 31 March 2021, for Government acceptance. The proposal due date remains unchanged. Proposal to perform the work described herein is due to this office no later than 1000 hrs (CST) on Monday, 24 August 2020. Proposal must be submitted via e-email to zcheherah.macapinlac@us.af.mil and lauren.scheidegger@us.af.mil. Hand delivery is also acceptable. Blank Cost Estimate Breakdown Solicitation: This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide construction project, Composite 362 TRS CSS Glass Door & Logo Installation at Sheppard AFB, Texas. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The applicable NAICS Code for this construction project is 238350, with a size standard of $16.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is less than $25,000. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns.� See attached Statement of Work for Construction Project 362 TRS CSS Glass Door & Logo Installation. The work to be performed under this contract and in accordance with these contract documents consists of furnishing all necessary plant, labor, materials, and incidental related work in execution of installation of glass door with logo in D hallway of hangar 1040. Project performance period will be a total of 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date to include time to design, construct, deliver materials, assemble, and install. The solicitation number is # FA302020R0020 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). See attached SF1442 for the RFP format. All documents including the solicitation, PR number, attachments, and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. An organized site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM CST on Monday, 17 August 2020. Participants are to meet at 82d Contracting Squadron, Building 1662. Only one site visit will be conducted. All questions must be submitted by 10:00 AM CST on Wednesday, 19 August, 2020.
