Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z028-21-Q-7AA00500. �Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance ($20.5) This requirement is for a fixed price service contract. �The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: 1.�Monthly cost to include pickup and delivery of tools for calibration Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can: a.�Show competencies in the service requested b.�Provide past performance documentation c.�Provide service schedule for tool calibration Final cost of service will also be used for the basis of the award. The tools identified in the attached spreadsheet are used for Aircraft Maintenance at Coast Guard Air Station Miami, Opa Locka, Fl. This solicitation is for a Base Quote for FY2021 from October 1st, 2020 through September 30th, 2021, plus 4 option years.� 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor for the option years provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. ����� (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. ����� (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed __5___ years. The contractor will be responsible for the pick-up, delivery, calibration, and certification of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Specifically, the contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the tools to be calibrated and certified. Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government�s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
