- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Zorn Compressor and Equipment for preventive maintenance on the Powerex SEQ2007 Compressor, Nano NDL-090 Regenerative Air Dryer, Nano GEN2-2110 Nitrogen Generator and the OGSI OG175 Oxygen Generator located at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital located in Madison, Wi. Zorn Compressor and Equipment is the only vendor authorized to complete maintenance on these machines in the state of Wisconsin. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Zorn Compressor and Equipment preventitive maintenance is already in use. This request is for sustainment of an existing service which currently provides service to the Powerex SEQ2007 Compressor, Nano NDL-090 Regenerative Air Dryer, Nano GEN2-2110 Nitrogen Generator and the OGSI OG175 Oxygen Generator. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one year base plus two one year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $22 million. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM (Central) August 24, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
