- Description
- The requirement is to provide technical analysis, coordination and assistance activities for the ultimate benefit of assistance-eligible developing countries under the auspices of the Clean Energy Ministerial�s Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage initiative (CEM CCUS) and related activities.This will be a 9-month contract with an anticipated start date of September 30, 2020. This will help the DOE attain its mission to advance CCUS technologies and enabling frameworks globally as part of an �all fuels, all technologies� strategy for clean energy, bolster adoption by other countries of U.S. principles, tools and approaches for CCUS, and lay the groundwork for further CCUS deployment. DOE is a driving force behind the CEM CCUS initiative. In 2017, DOE proposed the establishment of a CEM work stream on CCUS, �and the Department now co-leads the CEM CCUS initiative with its corresponding ministries in other countries� governments.
