MARKET RESEARCH � SOURCES SOUGHT.� NO SOLICITATION EXIST This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY.� This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government�s minimum requirements.�� ���� NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing two (2) Industrial Marine 75HP Vacuums Part # VP1750 for Trident Refit Facilities, King�s Bay, GA.� ���� This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid.� The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for SMALL BUSINESS.� NAICS Code: 423830 Description/Scope of Work:� The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, labor, material, and equipment to provide the Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay (TRFKB). This requirement to procure the (2) Industrial Marine 75HP Vacuums Part # VP1750 will be installed into shops and directly supports operations of overhaul and repair perform at Trident Refit Facility by no later than 31 December 2020. �� The Industrial Marine 75 HP Vacuum Units (Part Number VP1750) shall be provided to permit movement of the system via crane lifts, forklifts, and trailer. The requirements include testing, operation / maintenance training, and documentation. DELIVERABLES. The Industrial Marine 75 HP Vacuum Units (Part Number VP1750) shall consist of not less than (as defined by the manufacturers� part numbers): Standard Equipment.� All standard equipment required for proper operation of the contracted equipment (such as included accessories and special tools) shall be furnished. Dust Cans ��Hoffman� Enclosure 304 Stainless Steel, Watertight Door ��Square D� Disconnect 304 Stainless Steel, 200 Amp, Watertight Door Backing Plate 304 Stainless Steel Phase Monitor Cannon Plug Connectors Connecting Conduit Stainless Steel, Watertight Seals Lubrication placard showing location of and service intervals for greasing Instructional placards for cleaning filters and water tank Grease fitting extensions for convenient access Power Requirements. (Must Conform to NFPA79 - Standards - Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery UL, NEC and ANSI B11.3 electrical standards) Amperage Restriction. The system shall use no more than 665 Amps at any given time including startup. Three Phase Supply.� The equipment shall have a means of installing three phase supply power via compression fittings capable of accepting type W cable sized per NEC.� Connection points shall be located and shielded so as to provide protection to personnel against access to energized parts, as well as the ingress of water and foreign material.� Connection points shall be located so as to allow convenient access and hook up from the exterior of the unit. Connections shall be made with �CAM-LOK� style connectors. Connections shall be color coded Black, Blue, Red and Green. Power Supply Panel.� The equipment shall be designed for operation on a single electric service of 480 volts, +/- 10%, 3 phase, 60Hz, 4 wire, with a ground wire, a circuit breaker, phase failure relay, with a control panel warning light, and safety disconnect switch (non-fuse) serving to interrupt all electrical power provided to the Equipment.� Panel mounted cam-lock connectors, shall be provided on the bottom of the panel to power the system and to provide a continuation of the panel mounted cam-lock connectors as illustrated in this document. The safety disconnect switch shall have means of being pad locked in the OFF position, clearly labeled, be visible, unobstructed by doors in the open position, and accessible to personnel. Electrical Enclosures. Electrical components of the equipment shall be contained in enclosures rated for damp locations construction and of minimum size consistent with Industry standards and ventilation of components, meeting the requirements of NEMA 250 Type 4X as well as design criteria of a NEMA 250 Type 12. Enclosures shall include environmental controls to maintain suitable temperature and humidity for the longevity of electronic components, to suit conditions defined under the working environment paragraph of this document.� Where cooling of an enclosure is required, a condensate drain shall be provided to discharge to either the sanitary sewer system or to the coolant reservoir. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this Sources Sought (SS) notice shall not exceed two (2) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point.� The technical capabilities statement shall include: �A cover page containing the company�s name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, NAICS code 423830, business size/socio-economic status, Government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and email address.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SS notice or any follow-up information requests.� No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation.� In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted by 11:00 A.M.
