Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI  53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide a Linux based, alphanumeric/voice paging system/terminal for the Tomah VAMC in Tomah, Wisconsin. General Requirements: Contractor shall provide all equipment, material, labor, travel costs and supervision, to provide and install new, consolidated Code Blue, voice, and text paging system components at the Tomah VAMC, including the following: A. Contractor shall provide and install new alphanumeric/voice paging system terminals, transmitters, encoders and all other related components and devices, into an existing server cabinet/rack space. B. Server rack/cabinet shall be provided by the VA and shall be in place for installation of paging system components by the contractor. C. Contractor shall terminate all paging system connections to existing Tomah network devices and phone demarcations as required. D. Contractor shall retrofit existing Decibel, DB 224, paging system antennas, located on the roof, with new components. Retrofit shall bring existing paging system antennas up to all current standards and shall be configured to the new paging system as required. E. New paging system shall be configured, tested and brought fully on-line. All testing shall be done with a Tomah VAMC Information Technology Operations and Services (ITOPS) Technician present. Contractor shall provide all testing results, in a digital report, to the Tomah VAMC ITOPS staff when complete. F. When testing is complete, Contractor shall perform a paging system cutover to bring the old paging system off-line and the new paging system on-line. 1) System cutover shall take place at other than normal business hours and shall be coordinated with Tomah VAMC ITOPS staff. 2) System cutover shall only take place while a Tomah VAMC ITOPS staff is present. 3) Contractor shall coordinate cutover date at least seven (7) days before execution. G. When system cutover is complete, contractor shall take old paging system completely Off-line. Contractor shall remove and dispose of old paging system and its related components. H. Contractor shall provide end user and administrator training to Tomah VAMC ITOPS staff, on new paging system. I. Contractor shall provide all equipment manuals, in digital and hardcopy, to the Tomah VAMC. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL THE FOLLOWING: Company name. Address. Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). FSS / SEWP Contract number, if applicable. DUNS number. Tax ID number. Indication of which business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Other Than Small Business) for which the organization qualifies. A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the requirement depicted above. Documentation from manufacturer (i.e. correspondence from manufacturer) of your firm being an authorized distributor for the manufacturer. The NAICS Code 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, is applicable to this acquisition; the size standard is 1,000 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision. This is the only notice; no other copies of this notice will be provided.
