- **18 August 2020 - Questions and Answers, to include pictures relating�to questions asked, have been posted.** **6 August 2020 - A second site visit was conducted to include viewing the C-17 avionics equipment to be moved under bid option #2.� A video of the space can be viewed at�https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V4yTCxix7tZQL10trVqOA170G1B97YAq/view?usp=sharing ** ** 3 August 2020 - A site visit was conducted on 31 July 20 and the sign-in sheet has been posted.� Note, this was a combined site visit for W50S6L-20-B-0015 & W50S6L-20-B-0012.� The sign in sheet is attached for the purpose of identifying interested parties.� A second site visit will be conducted on 6 August @ 1:00PM AKST.� The meeting point will be 7252 Gibson Avenue on JBER.� Maj Daniel Koch will be present at the JBER Boniface gate starting at 12:30PM AKST to assist interested parties who do not have base access.� This site visit will include visiting bldg 8559 to observe the avionics equipment that will be uninstalled, relocated to Hangar 12, and re-installed.� pictures of this area and equipment will be uploaded to this posting once the site visit is complete for those who attended the first site visit and need only pictures to formulate their bid.� As a reminder, please submit questions as early as possible to ensure the 176CES and Contracting team has ample time to provide answers** **SITE VISIT TIME & DATE REVISION��- A site visit for this project will be in conjunction with�a site visit for W50S6L-20-B-0012 - Construct 176 CES Canopies.� Interested parties with base access will meet at 7252 Gibson Ave at 12:00PM on 31 July 20. Interested parties without base access must inform Capt Daniel Koch (907-552-0086) that you will be attending the site visit, and meet Capt Koch at the JBER Boniface Gate NLT 11:30 to gain access to JBER.� �The site for W50S6L-20-B-0012 Construct 176 CES Canopies will be viewed first, followed by the site for W50S6L-20-B-0015 Repair C-17 Avionics. ** **Funds are not presently available for this potential contract. Currently, the Government anticipates funds will become available prior to but no later than 30 Sep 2020. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for awards if funds become available and the prices received are within an awardable range ** Repair C-17 Avionics Shop, Hangar 12 176WG, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, Alaska W50S6L-20-B-00015 The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, invites you to an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for repair of the C-17 Avionics Shop, at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. � BASE BID:�Work includes renovating a 1,600 SF Avionics shop within Hangar 12 including office/admin space, shop space, and storage. OPTION 1:�Run and terminate telecommunications cabling, install ports, and other associated telecom work described in the plans dated 17 April 2020. OPTION 2:�Uninstall, relocate and re-install avionics equipment from its existing location in building 8559 to Hangar 12. The magnitude of the project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 150 days after notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. A site visit will be conducted on 31 July at 12:00PM.� Please see the attached solicitation for details.� This site visit will be a combined site visit with W50S6L-20-B-0012 - Construct Canopies.� The Construct Canopies location�adjacent to the building at 7252 Gibson Ave will be completed first at approximately 12:00PM.� After completion, interested parties will convoy to the C-17 Avionics Shop.�� The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website now located online at https://www.beta.sam.gov/.� Sam.gov is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies.
