- This pre-solicitation notice is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 7) intends to solicit proposals from interested and qualified contractors. The proposed acquisition is for Boiler Preventative Maintenance Services for the Carl Vinson VA Health Care System. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Base and Four Option Year Renewal Contract as result of the solicitation. The solicitation will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside and should be posted on or about August 20, 2020. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 561210 and the size standard is $41.5 Million. Place(s) of Performance: Atlanta VA Health Care Center 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, Georgia 30033 Projected Period of Performance: Base Year: September 10, 2020 August 31, 2021 Option Year One: September 1, 2021 August 31, 2022 Option Year Two: September 1, 2022 August 31, 2023 Option Year Three: September 1, 2023 August 29, 2024 Option Year Four: September 1, 2024 August 28, 2025 Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from the Beta.Sam.gov website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the Beta.Sam.gov website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in the VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website because no contracts can be awarded to an offeror not registered in SAM.
