Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.302-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and brand name descriptions.� The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Tenant Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: Seventeen (17) MakerGear brand Ultra One 3D Printers * with custom modified doors This acquisition shall include the purchase and delivery for this requirement as well as 60 days of email/phone support. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to MakerGear LLC � Cage Code 7LSR4. The contractor is the sole design, engineering, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that can provide the necessary customizations and modifications of the Ultra One 3D Printers that meet the minimum required specifications for the requirement. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333249 - Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing (Additive manufacturing machinery manufacturing) and the business size standard is 500 Employees. Posting date of this requirement is 18 August, 2020. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 7 September 2020. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. This is not a Request for Quote. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government�s intent to award on a sole source basis the required supplies. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted to: Birgit M.
