Description
During the period of 01 October 2020 through�31 March�2026, this procurement will provide engineering technical support required for the acquisition, development, deployment, and operational support of Reentry Body aspects of the Navy�s Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) strategic weapon systems. SSP intends to enter into this agreement with Peraton, Inc, 12975 Worldgate Drive,�Herndon, VA 20170, since they are the only known source having the knowledge and depth and breath of expertise required to support technical, programmatic, system safety, and operational aspects of current and future Reentry Body systems development, refurbishment, and life extension programs, as well as the assessment of Reentry Body system performance and vulnerability to harsh environments. This contract will also include four (4) one-year option periods. Top Secret Security Clearance Required. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Place of Contract Performance: Colorado Springs, CO 80919, Arlington, VA 22202, and various CONUS naval installations.
